  8.  AB    OBJECTIVES: Evaluate the therapeutic value of abeclametosone
  9.        hemissuccinate and neomicine in solution, to decrease the symptoms and
  10.        time duration of the recurrent stomatitis aphthous. METHOD: After
  11.        combining both products we studied 50 patients with major aftas and
  12.        herpetic stomatitis. This is a double-blind study to evaluate this
  13.        product. The protocole for patients is to rinse four minutes three times
  14.        a day, after this, the patients can not rinse or cat for 20 minutes.
  15.        RESULTS: The patients treated with the new product showed a great
  16.        improvement after the first mouth-rinse. The symptoms remitted in 48-72
  17.        hours in most patients. CONCLUSIONS: The product is effective for the
  18.        control of the symptoms. We have not found significant side effects in
  19.        its application. We feel the product's viscous formulation is important
  20.        for it facilitates the application adherence to the mucosa and dose
  21.        control by patients.
